It was founded in 1971 by the renowned economist Late Shri Manu Subedar who himself was suffering from an impaired vision. Lotus Eye Hospital is a Non-Profit Charitable Hospital which has been accredited by ISO certification. The Hospital has set up a clear goal for eradicating Visual Impairments and taken initiatives to reach each strata of the society with quality eye care at affordable cost.
