PhD

Research and Innovation is one of the core verticals of Lotus College of Optometry. Our graduates are trained in research as early as the 3rd academic year of the undergraduate program. To achieve our objectives to contribute to the development of eye and vision care, Lotus College has collaborated with Chitkara University to offer a doctor of philosophy in Optometry. PhD scholars, who enroll at Chitkara University can work in the state of art Vision care facility of the College. The College, also facilitates by providing highly qualified co guides and a state of art clinical facility particularly for evidence based and clinical research projects.

For the Innovation projects, the College has a MOU with MIT-ReDex laboratory,Mumbai which provides access to collaborate with other professionals like engineering and design specialists who together with Optometrists come up with innovative and low cost solutions for eye and vision care.
