Why M.Optom at Lotus College of Optometry?

Late. Mr. Naval P. Baliwalla founded the Lotus College Of Optometry in the year 2000. The Master’s program is one of the projects which he had planned and initiated during his time. He sowed the seeds for an extremely able team that has the zeal to continue his good work.

•    We have graduated 15 batches since 2008.
 

The course is designed for Optometrists to develop new competencies in the areas of low vision & rehabilitation, neuro-optometric rehabilitation, behavioural optometry, binocular vision & Vision Therapy, diagnostics, specialized contact lenses, pediatric optometry, ocular photography etc

• Lotus College of Optometry, was the first to design and develop a curriculum for M.Optom in clinical Optometry in 2006. It is the most experienced College in offering the program.

• Lotus College of Optometry, has well experienced faculty members and most of the post graduates thesis have been presented in national and international conferences.


• State of art infrastructure. Our clinical facilities and classrooms are well equipped with ophthalmic instruments, furniture fixtures, etc.


• The program is designed with lectures, hands on clinical skills and dissertation, however as lectures are arranged over weekends, graduates are free to work and pursue their masters simultaneously.
