Quality Policy

Lotus College aims at preparing a cadre of well-qualified optometrists trained to provide primary eye care services to the society as well as to the optical industry opening vistas of opportunity for each student, to pursue a career of choice like academics, research and development in optical and ophthalmic field, working in ophthalmic hospitals or practicing independently.

To achieve this, the College imparts theoretical as well as practical knowledge on various clinical procedures and skills in eye care, enabling the students to confidently function as independent primary eye care professionals.

The College endeavors to upgrade the curriculum and continually improve the process to provide optometric education on par with the international standards. The College aims to achieve this by having a team of well qualified and committed faculty in all relevant subjects of optometry, ophthalmology and basic sciences, continually updating their knowledge to meet the curriculum requirements, evaluating the students on internationally accepted examination standards and having the requisite facilities.

The College endeavors to develop expertise in new cutting edge areas of optometry by collaborating with international agencies.

The College coordinates with ophthalmic fraternity and strives to work towards eradicating preventable and treatable blindness by taking on community - based projects as a prt of inculcating social responsibility among the students and reducing the preventable blindness cases in India.
